Emily Manuel is an Australian currently living in the U.S, where she and her partner have four cats and an apartment full of books. During the day, Emily works as the editor of Global Comment, a progressive internationalist online magazine where she publishes many fine writers including Tiger Beatdown’s own Sady Doyle and s.e. smith. She also does a bit of freelance writing around the place for publications such as Billboard magazine, Bitch magazine, Alternet and Religion Dispatches.
